this is noah. say goodbye. he probably won't be around much longer.

i have a fascination wit the idea of a person being kept around as food. i get a kick out of the hunt and all but there's something about the idea of having to wait until the predator gets hungry enough to finish things that i find more thrilling.

noah, lucky duck, popped into my head a long time ago. he can't be killed until he finishes is quest, which is to find his missing sister. he's desperate for help because he doesn't know how to find her an foolishly agrees to do a favor for some goblins. he only discovers that he isn't cut out for the job when they point him in the direction of mordecai's den and tell him to kill the monster.
mordecai is thrilled to be sent breakfast in bed, and even more thrilled when he discovers, after he coughs up the chewy indigestible bits that noah's body grows back a few hours later, not matter the damage done to him. so he's basically an endless supply of mort's favorite food.
and then the fun begins.
